RBG’s Final Wish Could Help Biden Win
She was brilliant to the end — her statement holds a clue.
Ginsburg dictated the following statement to her granddaughter, Clara Spera, shortly before she died: “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”
Ruth Bader Ginsburg was no fool. She knew that President Trump didn’t like her because of her 2016 criticism of him when she called him “a faker.”
RBG knew the minute that her wish was released upon her death that Trump would pounce to do exactly the opposite. I mean come on, this is a brilliant legal strategist and this is her final act. Words are mightier than the sword.
My educated guess is that when she made that wish, she knew precisely that the President who holds grudges would especially want to defy that wish. Nobody gets to call Donald Trump a faker and get away with it — dead or alive.
Why would she do that?
This now adds a new battlefront to an already tight race. And it’s a battlefront that the Democrats can use to launch…
